Attention Students!

NYC School Meals applications can now be completed online through ACCESS NYC! Families with children at public, charter, and private Department of Education (DOE) schools can go to ACCESS NYC, New York City’s free online public screening tool, and apply electronically for free or reduced-price school meals for their children. The ACCESS NYC Web site at www.nyc.gov/accessnyc walks parents through simple questions to complete and submit the School Meals Online Application.

With the School Meals Online Application, families can submit one application for all of their children, even if they attend different schools. Once the family submits the application online they do not need to bring any paper forms into the school. The ACCESS NYC Web site is available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, Korean, Haitian Creole, and Arabic, and families can submit the online application in any of these languages.

The paper application is also available, and families that would like to use the paper application can complete the form and submit it to their child’s school. If parents would like to apply in Bengali, French, Greek, Hebrew, Italian, Hindi, Polish, or Urdu, they can use the paper application in those languages.

School Meals: Apply today. On paper. Online. On time.

For Juniors and Seniors who qualify (75+ on ELA and 80+ GPA or passed language placement test) and have been approved by the principal to take College Now classes, see the attached schedule of classes you can register for. Registration starts this Tuesday 8/26.
