Our International Poetry Exchange Program (IPEP) has been given a wonderful opportunity to travel to Australia.10 Marble Hillians will be performing at the Adelaide festival in Adelaide, Australia.
Our IPEP students have been invited to present their poems with students of Bonnyrigg High School at the Adelaide Festival. They will perform during Family Day which takes place during Writing Week. In addition to the performance, our students will participate in several cultural experiences, most notably, they will meet with the students that they have been meeting virtually over the past year. They will also be visiting schools and local sites. The Adelaide Festival has a focus on the indigenous peoples of Australia and our students will see Guuaranda, Baleen Moondjan and Blue to better understand this group.
